| Father Jonathan Fischer OSB celebrates fifty years of monastic profession. He was born on April 4, 1934, in Strasburg, North Dakota, and professed first vows on July 11, 1955. Father Jonathan taught German at Saint John's Preparatory School and served as the Field Director in Germany for the Hill Manuscript Museum & Library. Presently he serves as a health care chaplain in St. Paul. (2005) |
